District Overview

The 9th House District is located in Southeast Michigan in Wayne County, including a small portion of Dearborn and a portion of Detroit.  The district is heavily Democratic, with a base of 95.31%.  As is almost always the case, the Democratic primary is a full race with seven candidates vying for the seat.
