Chaired by Senator Mary Cavanagh (D-Redford Twp.), the Michigan Legislative Latino Caucus (MLLC) announced its newly elected leaders for the 102nd legislative term. Senator Darrin Camilleri (D-Trenton) will serve as vice chair and Representative Veronica Paiz (D-Harper Woods) will serve as secretary and treasurer.
The MLLC is a bicameral caucus of legislators dedicated to promoting legislative initiatives that reflect the betterment of Michigan’s Latino community, including economic development, healthcare, education, civic engagement, and civil rights. It was formed in 2017.
