Governor Announces Change in Communication Office

On Thursday, Governor Rick Snyder named Ari Adler as his Director of Communications. Mr. Adler has worked in the executive office since 2015. Adler has extensive experience in public relations and communications, including serving as communications director for former Speaker of the House, Jase Bolger, as spokesperson in Senate Leadership offices and having served in the several communications capacities in the private sector.

The former Communications Director, Meegan Holland, has been named Special Projects Manager in the Governor’s Office, initially focusing on veteran affairs issues. Former Press Secretary, Dave Murray, will move to the Michigan Department of Talent and Economic Development, serving as their Communications Director.
