District Overview
The 62nd House District is located in southeast Michigan in portions of Macomb County. It includes Fraser and Harrison Township and portions of St. Clair Shores, Chesterfield Township, and Clinton Township.
Commentary
This district is as close to being split 50/50 as you can get, with the Democratic Party having the slightest edge with a 50.1% base. The district is open this year, as current Representative Steve Marino (R-Harrison Twp.) is term limited from running again. This is another competitive seat that both parties are hoping to win as they both work towards having a majority in the House.
