Governor Schedules Special Election

This week, Governor Rick Snyder announced that a special election will be held in the 28^th House of Representatives District to fill the vacancy created when former Representative Derek Miller resigned to serve as Macomb County Treasurer. A special primary election will be held on August 2 and the special general election will be held on November 8. The 28^th House district is comprised of the City of Center Line and a portion of the City of Warren, both in Macomb County.
