Chairman of the Michigan Liquor Control Commission Elected to National Board

Feb 19, 2016

Chairman of the Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC), Andrew Deloney, was voted chair-elect to the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA) Board of Directors.  He will assume responsibilities in May 2016, when the current chair-elect becomes the chairman.  Mr. Deloney was originally appointed as an Administrative Commissioner to the MLCC in 2011 by Governor Rick Snyder and was re-appointed in April 2015 for a second four-year term.  At the time of both of his appointments, Governor Snyder designated him chairman.  The NABCA is the national association representing the Control State Systems – those jurisdictions that directly control the distribution and sale of beverage alcohol within their borders.  Mr. Deloney will remain MLCC Chairman while serving in this advisory capacity for the NABCA.
