On Monday, February 22, the Board of State Canvassers will meet to consider if six recall petitions filed against Governor Rick Snyder and one filed against Lt. Governor Brian Calley factually and clearly state the reasons for recall. They will also consider a new political party form petition submitted and a petition from for a constitutional amendment.
The House and Senate are scheduled to hold session Tuesday – Thursday.
On Wednesday, March 2, Chief Justice Robert Young, Michigan Supreme Court, and Chief Judge Michael Talbot, Michigan Court of Appeals, will present their budget requests to the House Appropriations Judiciary Subcommittee.
House and Senate Appropriation Subcommittees are continuing to hold hearings to discuss the upcoming fiscal year budget.
On Thursday, March 3, Fox News is hosting a debate for Republican Presidential Primary Candidates at the Fox Theatre in Detroit. The two-hour debate begins at 9 p.m.
