On Tuesday, the Senate voted to approve two resolutions encouraging Governor Gretchen Whitmer to take certain actions related to COVID-19. The first encourages the governor to utilize the most recent updated federal guidelines on who qualifies as an essential worker. The second resolution would allow hospitals and health care facilities to resume elective procedures.
