June Unemployment Rate Declines

Last month, Michigan’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell by 6.5% points to 14.8%. Total employment for the month advanced by 464,000 but was still 556,000 below February’s pre-pandemic levels. The national rate declined by 2.2% last month to 11.1%.
